China General Chamber Of Commerce – U.S.A. Automotive Committee & SAIC USA Host 2015 Intelligent Vehicle & Transportation Forum

Rochester, MI – On Tuesday, May 12th, 2015, China General Chamber of Commerce – U.S.A. Automotive Committee (CGCC Automotive Committee) and SAIC USA hosted 2015 Intelligent Vehicle & Transportation Forum at Royal Park Hotel.

The event was attended by some of the most prominent researchers, business leaders and officers, including Consul General of PRC in Chicago Weiping Zhao, Senior Vice President of the Automotive Office at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation Kevin Kerrigan, President of Wanxiang America Pin Ni, President of Huawei Communications United States, Middle East and Africa Shaohua Ding, President of Baosteel America Meng Ye, Director of Center for Automotive Research Richard Wallace, President of China Telecom Americas Zhuo Han, Executive Vice President of Bank of China New York Wenjian Fang, Executive Director of China General Chamber of Commerce –U.S.A. Candice Niu.

The event started with Chairman Lu welcomed the co-hosts, sponsors and all the distinguished guests. He summarized the rapid change of automotive industry and looked forward to the future automotive system in terms of both operation and technology. “Collaborate, Innovate and Create.

Consul General Weiping Zhao and Mr. Kevin Kerrigan delivered welcome Speeches at the forum. Mr. Zhao talked about China and U.S. economy and relationships in these years. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a good relationship to spur cooperation and investment opportunities in automotive industry. “The world is getting a better place so long as two countries working together.” as he remarked.

Three panel discussions were presented at the Forum: Outlook of the ITS Industry fueled by Innovations, Collaboration In the Era of Fast-advancing Technologies, and Effective Implementation of Innovative Business and Technology Concepts.
